The next 9, 10 and 11 March will take place at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Granada (UGR), this year’s Ganymede National Congress, also being the tenth anniversary of this event that brings together every year young researchers related to the field of Classical Philology.
Within this event, two researchers belonging to our doctoral program will present their work and make contributions related to their field of research.
On the one hand, Manuel Mayo in a communication entitled “Ambrosia and nectar: a question of birds” will talk about the food of the gods par excellence in the Greek tradition, its relationship with the birds and its parallels with other Indo-European traditions and, on the other, Julia Hombre will present “Life, death, and resurrection in the Theban episodes of the Dionysiacs of Nono de Panópolis”, a communication about the work of this poetic author belonging to the, less worked, late antiquity.
