The nature of the writings shows that the two authors shared cultural environments and that, possibly, they got to know each other personally. Their respective links with high personalities of their time and the outbreak of the English dynastic war in 1135 would have led the two authors to confront each other literary in defense of the interests of their lords.<\/p>\n<p>The second article (\u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/revistas\/index.php\/cemyr\/article\/view\/01-B\">Entre a Historia e a Ficci\u00f3n: Dictis e Dares como modelos da Historia Karoli Magni (Pseudo-Turp\u00edn) e o De Gestis Britonum de Jofre de Monmouth<\/a>\u00bb <em>Cuadernos del CEMYR<\/em> 32 (2024) 259-285) is in strict line with the first, since from the idea that Aymeric Picaud and Geoffrey of Monmouth knew their respective works, it shows how, simultaneously and in parallel, both managed to blend into the historiographic context of their time, through a knowledge perfect of the conventions of the genre; and through authorization strategies that were modeled on the <em>De excidio Troiae<\/em> of Dares the Phrygian and the <em>Ephemeris belli Troiani<\/em> of Dictis of Crete.<\/p>\n<p>The third work (\u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/www.academia.edu\/113964966\/La_V%C3%ADa_Aquitana_el_Camino_Franc%C3%A9s_y_la_fortuna_de_la_Gu%C3%ADa_del_C%C3%B3dice_Calixtino?uc-sb-sw=81069129\">A V\u00eda Aquitana, o Cami\u00f1o Franc\u00e9s e a fortuna da gu\u00eda do Codex Calixtinus<\/a>\u00bb <em>El Camino con las huellas del Ap\u00f3stol. I Congreso V\u00eda Aquitania Camino de Santiago<\/em> cur.
